Part man, part caffeine, all beard – Jon is the newest member of the support team. He joins us with enthusiasm, a technical mind and is someone who loves the distraction of a complicated problem.
Jon has a lot of experience in all aspects of support including responding to tickets and developing scripts and workflows to manipulate data (often involving 3rd party API’s) to meet customer requirements. He also gets his hands dirty with installations, upgrades, migrations from old scripts or applications, training, integration with other systems – he knows a little about everything but is a master of nothing 🙂
Being IT capable he also gets involved in various internal projects (websites and systems), has experience with all the popular web acronyms and is no stranger to Jira or Bit Bucket. He is also more at home with Linux than the nice friendly Windows methodology, but do not hold that against him.
When not walking his three dogs or looking after his horses he can be found on his PlayStation or creating new applications/games. Jon spent a few years working for a game development studio and that passion has remained. Be sure to try some of the games:
He can be best described as a “creative handyman” and gives everything a go. Jon is a certified bacon fanatic, Xbox convert and a cycling guru (to work off the bacon)… Lately has has joined the #pcmasterrace and is looking to sink time into Destiny 2.
